bake! cookbook winner

Yay to Lisa!!

Lisa is the winner of bake! by Nick Malgieri, with lucky comment 134.
Check out Lisa's blog:
(Lisa found my blog after I featured her clever bleeding eyeball doughnuts on Edible Crafts. For Halloween, I should note.)
231 comments total (232 minus one submitted after the deadline)

I love reading about the goodies in your ovens. Pumpkin and chocolate are well represented, as are breads (yeast breads, pumpkin bread, challah, even bagels), cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal, decorated, snickerdoodle, even eggnog), cakes (carrot, red velvet, angel food, chocolate, yogurt, pound cake and more), muffins and brownies, cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls and scones, brioche and popovers, biscotti and pies, tarts and whoopie pies and even pumpkin creme brulee. The savories weren't forgotten, including chicken, enchilladas, quiche and--also MY favorite--mac n' cheese. Several connected their baking with family tradition, either knowledge passed along or under pressure! And several also admitted a bit of fear.

I thank you all heartily for participating! I will have more giveaways soon. And in the meantime, check out this other (amazing) cookbook giveaway on my other gig: (click the picture to go to the giveaway)

I have a few cookbook giveaways coming up on Edible Crafts, so I'll keep you posted for more on twitter!

Thank you for your comments! While I may not be able to respond to every single comment, know that I read, ponder and appreciate each and every one.

If you ask a question in a comment, I will contact you directly if you have an email attached to your ID or if you leave me your email in the comment. Otherwise, I will answer by leaving a comment in the same place you left a question, so be sure to check back. Or, contact me via email.

Due to spam ads for viagra and medicine I don't need, I now moderate comments, so it may take up to a day for your comment to appear, depending on how crazy my day is. (I may suspend this during giveaways.)
