am I right ladies?

Gingerbread gossip. Gingerbread was a delicacy in medieval times, popular at fairs in France, Germany, Holland and England. In some English villages, unmarried women would eat gingerbread "husbands" to increase their chances of meeting a man.

Just evidence of the power of decorated cookies.

  2. I love your blog! I just found it through blogger and the pictures are great and the hints for making sugar cookies a few posts down are great. A third of mine are always lopsided or unevenly colored, probably because my oven is TERRIBLE, I can't be patient enough to let it preheat and I need some new cookie pans. Let's go shopping!
