crazy tiny almost-not-even-there chocolate sandwich cookies

I promise you the decorated cookie is not becoming the chocolate sandwich cookie. This is the last one for awhile, I'm sure, so bear with me. But I just wanted to share what I did with some leftover dough.

presenting...To make them, I simply used my chocolate sandwich cookie, but with a tiny cutter.
Remember to make these adjustments:
  • I used a 1/2-inch circle fondant cutter instead of the cookie cutter
  • I only baked the cookies for six minutes
  • I still made frosting bags with colors, but I used a size "5" tip and just piped a dot on each cookie before topping with the other one (you can probably also use store-bought frosting and just put it in a ziploc bag and snip the corner)

  3. I love these! I wanted to ask you if you get a certain set of colors from Americolor? I went to their website and they seem to have some sets of certain colors. There was one for Electric colors but only 3 colors with 2 bottles of each color. Thanks so much!

  5. Oops, never mind! I don't see an email connected to your profile, so a few quick tips, Lorraine, then I'll devote a whole post to your question as soon as possible! I would go to amazon.com or click on the LINKS button at Americolorcorp.com for tips on stores to buy. I buy the .75 ounce (the small, because a little goes a very long way) bottles of individual colors, not sets. My most used: black, chocolate brown, Bright White, Electric Green/Pink, Red, Sky Blue, and Egg Yellow.
